Experienced Developers

We seek a number of engineers to join our group of highly skilled designers in the south Dublin region, delivering innovative products that combine specialist hardware and sophisticated software to solve performance problems in the XML and Web Services processing marketplace. This is an opportunity to participate in product development in one of the most exciting area of development technology today. 

We are looking for engineers in software and in hardware development: 

Software Engineers:

Candidates should have 2 - 5 years experience in the following:  

• System Level C
• Java, Java Native Interface (JNI), Familiarity with IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ, Experience with ANT and JUnit
• XML processing - Familiarity with / knowledge of the XML family of specifications including XML, XPath, XML Schema and XSLT - Experience with API's (standard or defacto) used for parsing, validating and transforming XML as well as XPath based data extraction - Experience with the W3C Document Object Model (DOM) - Implementation level knowledge of above technologies a significant plus
• Linux development – application/kernel level - Experience using the *nix build automation tools - Experience using source code control systems - Experience with shell scripting and Perl programming

FPGA Design Engineers :

• Honours Engineering Degree
• 3-5 years direct experience in FPGA or ASIC design
• Strong working knowledge of the FPGA design cycle from architectural specification through to system test
• Thorough understanding of efficient RTL coding styles for FPGA (VHDL preferred)
• Good working knowledge of the current verification methodologies and the Xilinx tool chain (Xilinx EDK experience would be an advantage)
• Familiarity with the Xilinx Virtex-4/5 architectures and attendant physical implementation issues
• Proficient with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, protocol analysers)
• Competent with scripting languages and revision control
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team
